Tracy A. Ries began her legal career while attending law school as an Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711 Clerk at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office with the Juvenile Justice Bureau.  She represented the people of Cook County in abuse and neglect cases and juvenile delinquency cases.  Next, Ms. Ries was a part-time Law Clerk at the law firm of Hoffman, Burke & Bozick, representing corporations in personal injury lawsuits.  Ms. Ries also practiced full-time for three years as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal for the law firm of Connelly Sheehan Moran (n/k/a Connelly Sheehan Harris), practicing labor and employment law. 

After graduating with a Juris Doctor degree, Ms. Ries was an Associate at two reputable firms - one in Naperville and one in Chicago.  She represented spouses and parents in every aspect of family law proceedings; including divorce proceedings, paternity proceedings, child and spousal support cases, removal cases, orders of protection, and divisions of assets and debts. 

Ms. Ries obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University Chicago - School of Law and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2004.  She graduated from St. Norbert College in 1999 with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology concentrating in Human Services, as well as a minor study in Psychology.

Ms. Ries is an assertive, family-oriented attorney with compassion, honesty and diligence.
